I am a Ghost!

I very much so look like a specter in this here photograph. It comes to us compliments of LIZ!

We set The Fourth of July off in style! Lots of beer, fireworks, cameras, and a dead hooker. Oh and a lake, Amy and I went swimming in a lake. We were guests of our friends Morgan and Liz at Lake Sheridan. It is really quit nice up there. This was our (Amy and I's) second trip to said lake. We were also quest last year, and we had so much fun Liz invited us back! Our festivities also included burning things. Wood and fireworks alike.

It started on Friday night with a walk and a cookout. After the burgers we moved into some burning wood, then fireworks, then moved into being eaten alive by mosquitoes, then more burning. Then more beer. Then I fell asleep on a couch.

The fallowing day, Saturday, was also interesting. Though Morgan and myself didn't light any more fires, just fireworks. But the day was filled with food, fun and ...... some creepiness thrown in for good measure.
After the creepy doll we began the day off right. Beer at 10:30 a.m.

Yes we start the day off right. What? People aren't suppose to drink that early in the morning.

HEY! It was Independence day. Our for fathers broke free from the terrine and fought so we could be free. They gave us our rights. religious prosecution and the freedom to drink beer at ant time of the day! Why else would you start a revolution, if not to tear down the walls of drinking persecution! The King hung a sign stating"Thee shall not drink beer before noon." Well we will not stand for that. OK, off
Once we had a nice cocktail in us, we moved on to games!
And more beer.
Then some food.
Eventually we made it back into the city. We had some more grilled dinner and a few more cocktails before we got into the fireworks.
And then the carnage began! And we started with this little guy.

These photos come to us compliments of LIZ! If you care to see more of our adventure, you can view Liz's photo stream over at Fickr. That is viewable by clicking on this line of blue text.

After we wound down from our exciting journey through the ages, we came home to mellow for a bit, then sleep to get ready for SUNDAY!

OK not much happened on Sunday, Amy had work and I had errands to run. But I was able to install my coolant tank on The Meepers.

That is all, carry on.
