I know what you are thinking. And no, The Meepers is not dead. We just stopped by a cemitray yesterday during a quick ride around the area.

So here I sit. In

So here I sit. In my car in the parking lot of my new job. I am tired, cranky and hungry. I love this job! That is not a joke. I like it here.

YUM!

Interesting. OK not really, but I am hungry and I am trying to keep my mind busy while I wait on the food.

I Win!

I bobbed the rear fender on The Meepers yesterday, and put it back on today. It came pretty good.

I Learned a Thing or Two.

OK, the photo sucks. I was tired, dirty, sweaty, and didn't feel like getting the real camera and uploading . So I took the easy way out, cell phone photo with a mobile upload.

But today was a .....Success!

Well I did run into one unforeseen problem. One of the 8mm bolts holding the cover (the black thing you see on the front there) was totally striped. In my anger and frustration, It went from being stripped really bad, to being stripped REALLY BAD.

But JT had these niftly little space aged tools called bolt removal set. He came over and got right to work. Within ten minutes he got that bastered off! Then we moved into the problem I knew about....The drive face being stuck on the crank shaft, due to me turning it into a mushroom.

Well after a few failed ideas, we came up with a good one. JT got one flat head screw driver and I got another. We got on either side and got a good rhythm going on. And it slowly started to come off. We got that thing to the very edge, and the little bugger still wouldn't come off. So again we got our motion going on....

Get your head out of the gutter!

....then all of a sudden, that crazy piece of metal went flying across the garage.

When all the stuck parts were removed, that swing arm was off the motor in minutes. That blew my mind. I thought it was going to take me an hour once I got the variator off. It literally took me less than 15 minutes.

Next step, bob my rear fender, cut the tail light bracket down, and install the swing arm! You will be updated shortly.

That is all, carry on.

Working Man

Well, the time is about to come for me. The time I have been waiting on for several months now. One week today at about this time, I will be walking to my car. I will be walking to said car after my first day of work!

Yes if you are unaware, I was resently hired by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to work at Clarks Summit State Hospital. I will be a Psychiatric Aide Trainee for 6 months or so. Once I pass my probationary period, I will be a Psychiatric Aide.

I am stoked about this and I can not wait to get back to work. This is my last free week, before I become a miserable SOB. But I am due.... I have been un-employed for 7 months now, I have got to get back into the grind of working. The biggest thing that is going to suck for me is training. It goes from 7-3:30. OK, I do love to work the morning shift. To bad I live an hour away right now. So I am going to have to wake up at 5 a.m. for a month to get to work on time. After that I will be working 3-11:30.

What am I going to do with all this money you ask! Spend it! On a house, The Meepers and Amy. We are looking for a house, all this wasting money on rent is for the birds.

We will have spent $13,000 on rent in two years once the lease on this place is up. That is a healthy down payment on a house, or some good cash toward a mortgage. So we are begining to look for a nice single family home to put our money into. Hell when we decide to move along in life, we will just rent the place out! I call that return on investment!

I also plan on saving money to do an engine swap on The Meepers. You already did an engine swap when you messed up you first one, you say. Well you're right I did. But this time I am going to put a larger engine in The Meepers so I can keep up with traffic. When I drove The Meepers down here to Redneck Town it was a scene out of Dumb and Dumber.

(Right around 2:20 in)
And well Amy has to put up with me and all my yelling, so she deserves to be showered with gifts!

That is all, carry on.

I Want One

WTF!?

This here is a Lifan, LF110GY-3. Saw two of these while getting The Meepers inspected. You can kind of see the red one on the right side of the photo. They are interesting machines, and I would like to own one. But I need to keep all my extra cash for The Meepers right now. The two of us have some plans....they involve more speed!

$1800, and Nice Guys!

Brand new 09' for $1800 at R & D Powersports in Palmerton PA. And they are really nice guys to boot! Never had this kind of service in Scranton. One of the two things I'm going to miss when we head back up North. But The Meepers does pass with my integrated tail light up North.

And, BAM! The proof!

One thing I didn't like was the fact that The Meepers didn't pass inspection here because I have an integrated tail light with turn signals. Last year The Meepers passed, this year I had to put the stock blinkers back on. They look ugly, but got to keep it on the up and up.

The Amish don't Mess Around!

That there is an Ox roasting on a spit. The damn sandwiches were $8 each! They were good, but not $8 good! And they put them on some dang hot dog buns to boot! OH well, what are you going to do. A guy's got to eat.
