It is Almost Time!
The Bank blamed it on the Seller, the Seller blamed it on the Bank. All I know is it wasn't Amy or myself. No one asked us for anything. In fact, I called the guy from the Bank and asked if he needed updated information from us and sent it right over just to be safe. So This hold up was now on our part.
Well 1 turned into a phone call at 3 from the closing agency that the Bank finally sent over the most of the paper work. So the appointment was set at 4:30. So Amy and I got there at 4. We started signing knowing we wouldn't offically own the home that day because the Seller wasn't going to be able to make it and we didn't have the numbers from the Bank for the closing costs yet.
Well it was a X-Mas miracle! We almost closed on the house. The seller did show up and signed the papers as well. But we didn't get the HUD sheet until about 5:30. So we now have all the paperwork we need.
Bla Bla Bla. The seller went home after he did his signing, so he wasn't around an hour later when the numbers came in. So as it stands, Amy and I own a house, but we have not paid for it yet. As of Monday, we will 100% own a home and be on the line for some where around $150,000 (If we take 30 years to pay off the home with out over paying and money to the principle).

This day....
So this is a good day off. Amy gets out of work early tonight, and I am making a nice dinner for us. And to top off such a great day, we are planning a trip to the brand new Walmart in Lehighton!
Yes you heard me correctly, we are planning a trip down the road (about 2 miles) to the areas first Super Walmart. Yes there are two within a reasonable drive, one being in Whitehall the other Tamaqua . But this is the first one with in about 40 minutes of Lehighton. It is such a big deal, that all the locals are amped up over this and today is suppose to be a bit of a "Black Friday" up there tonight.
This Friday is going to be action packed! Car maintenance, laundry, movies dinner and Walmart! Shit this day cannot get any better!
I know what you are asking yourself right now, is there a real reason for this blog post. The simple answer is, NO.
But it is Video Friday!
And an oldie but goody!
That is all, carry on.

Braddock PA
This is pretty flipping sweet. And I do not think that Levi's is using this small down on it's luck American town. They paid all the residence who were on the commercial, and built a huge community center in the town.
Amy went to college with the Mayors sister, who has sense moved back home to Braddock to help rebuild the town. Now here is the article for your reading pleasure.

Tuesday Morning
What is the Home Land you ask? Well it is the land that I call home. You are aware that I am a proud member of the Keystone State, but that does not mean that anywhere in the boundaries of this great state are "home." Yes on a rode trip I get very happy to cross that line, or when I see the enemy in my state I get very angry. For this reason I do wish Pennsylvania would enact a militia to keep the intruders out, only allowing them admittances with written orders from me.
There I go again, getting off topic with my rage for the enemy. Back to The Home Land.
The Home Land is my little corner of this great state (the greatest being the Keystone State holding the rest of the original 13 colonies together). A place where I can kick my feet up, let my ovaries hang out, do some free laundry at my parents house and visit with The Puppster.
I am talking about Lackawanna County.
For prospective of where The Home Land is in the rather large and luxurious State of PA please observer the map below and take note of the area highlighted in red.
That my friends is the Mecca. I will pass through it's borders later today in The Egg, and very soon next month The Meepers and I will have a full blown assault on our hands. The angry Rednecks will try to keep us here, but we need to get The Meepers to higher ground before the cold weather makes the journey impossible for several months. And yes, it is higher ground.... look a the map. We will be heading North.
I leave you with this to ponder: Is your state better than mine?
That is all, carry on.

Hello There
Oh, I wish I could share all the stories I have, but alas I cannot. But I can talk about plenty of other things in the works. I have gained Moderator status of a newly formed website for men. Manley men that is. What is the URL you ask... I was just about to give it to you. Ask Biff Malibu DOT Com.
I have my own column on the site, but as of yet have not had many requests. The site is call Ask Biff Malibu after all, and not Ask Mr. Meepers. But feel free to become a member and ask me some crazy things. Anything goes. I do like my new topic of Photoshop fun. Give me an idea and I will run with it.
With the help of Ask Biff Malibu DOT Com, I was able to learn how Manley wood paneling actually is.
What else is going on the the world of Meepers you ask. Well last week we survived The Portland Invasion!
The invasion went so well, Derek got himself some blue balls.
It was a great two days. Derek has had limited exposure to the East Coast, and now he knows how East Coast Rednecks live....scary!
I leave you here today. It has been a while sense I have blogged and I do not want to give you sensory overload. Stay tuned!

The CrocRich and New Bars!
On Monday I will have the stem to mount these beauties. But I need to wait until my new blinkers come in. I want to try and get rid of those bulky stock flashers with something a little nicer.
Not sure I am going to like the ones I bought on impulse from eBay, but they were pretty cheap. And I am pretty sure I can sell them and get my money back if I really don't like them. There is a set I really like from Rucksters, but they have been out of stock for a while (and they are pretty pricey).
But the CrocRich seat is done! It is installed and rode tested! Feels great! Now to find a new shock, then my ass will like me again.
How is he looking? I think he is on his way to looking tasty.
That is all, carry on.

I Learned a Thing or Two.
But today was a .....Success!
Well I did run into one unforeseen problem. One of the 8mm bolts holding the cover (the black thing you see on the front there) was totally striped. In my anger and frustration, It went from being stripped really bad, to being stripped REALLY BAD.
But JT had these niftly little space aged tools called bolt removal set. He came over and got right to work. Within ten minutes he got that bastered off! Then we moved into the problem I knew about....The drive face being stuck on the crank shaft, due to me turning it into a mushroom.
Well after a few failed ideas, we came up with a good one. JT got one flat head screw driver and I got another. We got on either side and got a good rhythm going on. And it slowly started to come off. We got that thing to the very edge, and the little bugger still wouldn't come off. So again we got our motion going on....
Get your head out of the gutter!
....then all of a sudden, that crazy piece of metal went flying across the garage.
When all the stuck parts were removed, that swing arm was off the motor in minutes. That blew my mind. I thought it was going to take me an hour once I got the variator off. It literally took me less than 15 minutes.
Next step, bob my rear fender, cut the tail light bracket down, and install the swing arm! You will be updated shortly.
That is all, carry on.

Working Man
Yes if you are unaware, I was resently hired by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to work at Clarks Summit State Hospital. I will be a Psychiatric Aide Trainee for 6 months or so. Once I pass my probationary period, I will be a Psychiatric Aide.
I am stoked about this and I can not wait to get back to work. This is my last free week, before I become a miserable SOB. But I am due.... I have been un-employed for 7 months now, I have got to get back into the grind of working. The biggest thing that is going to suck for me is training. It goes from 7-3:30. OK, I do love to work the morning shift. To bad I live an hour away right now. So I am going to have to wake up at 5 a.m. for a month to get to work on time. After that I will be working 3-11:30.
What am I going to do with all this money you ask! Spend it! On a house, The Meepers and Amy. We are looking for a house, all this wasting money on rent is for the birds.
We will have spent $13,000 on rent in two years once the lease on this place is up. That is a healthy down payment on a house, or some good cash toward a mortgage. So we are begining to look for a nice single family home to put our money into. Hell when we decide to move along in life, we will just rent the place out! I call that return on investment!
I also plan on saving money to do an engine swap on The Meepers. You already did an engine swap when you messed up you first one, you say. Well you're right I did. But this time I am going to put a larger engine in The Meepers so I can keep up with traffic. When I drove The Meepers down here to Redneck Town it was a scene out of Dumb and Dumber.
That is all, carry on.

I Want One
This here is a Lifan, LF110GY-3. Saw two of these while getting The Meepers inspected. You can kind of see the red one on the right side of the photo. They are interesting machines, and I would like to own one. But I need to keep all my extra cash for The Meepers right now. The two of us have some plans....they involve more speed!
$1800, and Nice Guys!
And, BAM! The proof!
One thing I didn't like was the fact that The Meepers didn't pass inspection here because I have an integrated tail light with turn signals. Last year The Meepers passed, this year I had to put the stock blinkers back on. They look ugly, but got to keep it on the up and up.

QUINTS: The Memories
I believe the credit goes to Jessica. She snapped a few shots with her cell phone while the rest of us were drinking and partying in the final days.

The drunks on the roof:
The hole in the building next door:
Random shot of me on the counter, and either Chris or Mikes arm.

It May Soon End!
Today they I got a call from the HR department of Clark Summit State Hospital. It seems the news is good! I have been tentatively selected for the position of Aide Trainee for the 3-11 shift. Now all I need to do is pass my criminal background check and I am golden! So tomorrow I will send off a $10 money order to pay the cost of the check.
So Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, I do enjoy being a citizen of your state, I appreciate you helping me with un-employment in my time of need, and now I thank you for this chance of a new carrer.
That is all, carry on.

Attack!
After Amy was up and we drank some coffee we went for groceries and to the bank. Came home put away the groceries, made some egg sandwiches. And yes, I do make the best egg sandwiches you have ever had the privilege to meet. I did some laundry and watched some TV.
Amy headed off to work about 2:30 and I finished the laundry. I corresponded with the manliest of men, Biff Malibu about a great project he wants to get going. Then I went for my daily bike ride.
You know, the average everyday stuff. Then it happened. The unthinkable....
I was fucking chased down by three families of geese! And these guys were not flying. The came out of no where and charged me down the canal path. It was ridiculous! I had to pull over by the fence and watch these little devils. They don't have teeth, but they are tenacious. I have seen them chase and fight each other. When their taters are involved, they are crazy!
I made my way to the end of the trail and turned around. As quickly as they came, they were gone! I saw ZERO geese on my return trip. But I did see something disturbing.
Two young redneck kids where walking down the path, up river. They were carrying inter-tubes on their heads.
OK. side bar. The canal is on one side the Lehigh river is on the other. Multiple outfitters do rafting trips down the river.
The kids were going to hit the rapids on inter-tubes! OK, I was a little jealous, and would like to try it myself, but when you see two redneck kids carrying inter-tubes on their heads, you get a bad feeling.
OK, I need to clean today off of me.
That is all,carry on.
