OH NO!

It seems winter finally stuck out its dreary head. This was the image I saw as I walked out to The Egg this morning.

Not much, I know. But there are two reasons for that. Reason one: Amy and I live on a hill built by the Devil to mess with mankind, so a lot of the snow slid off. It was drizzling this morning so that also helped the snow slide/melt off. Reason two: I have a white car and snow, no peed on by dogs and people, is white. So that means there is more snow than it really looks like. Look at the black rails on the roof, you can see it there.

All in all this snow would not even be on my radar had it not been the first collection of snow I have seen for the season. I didn't have to use a scraper, I just turned on my wipers, front and back, and it was all gone.

Did I tell you? I cleaned my office yesterday! It was amazing! I threw out a lot of crap and organized things. Now I don't know where anything is. I can't even find a pen. Well that is not true, I found them now. The are where they belong, in my desk organizer, not where they were, all over my desk (run on? Yes.).

In addition to cleaning my desk, I was working on some animations for my logo. Yes I went a head and branded it ECR Productions. Why? Because I can. So now it stands, I am a production company. For me to make my own You Tube Videos. I also think I am going to make an updated DVD with my three latest videos and my animations on it. If you want a copy let me know, I'll make you one.

Well I am going to put together the DVD after I finish making my current animation. I am not happy with my camera angles yet. But I think I may have gotten it this time. I'll let you know in like 2 minutes after it finishes rendering. I made one for Bryan Anderson yesterday, but I am not sure if I am going to show it to anyone. It is a little dark, and I don't want to be the one who makes his logos from now on. I like doing it and all, but I would rather save the cool stuff for me! I'm selfish.

Ding! Render done. Be right back. Nope didn't like it, starting the render again. Give me a few minutes. Oh ya check this out.

Yup I did it again. I posted my video yet again. Oh well, it's kind of my thing.

Well in addition to the snow, The Meepers is not safely packed away for the winter yet. He is still sitting in my apartment building. I will have to get him over to the garage this week. I also need to pick up some Sta-Bil. That is gas stabilizer if you do not know. So this week rain/shine/sleet or snow......wait.....that is the USPS. Any way, I need to get The Meepers a few miles across town to my parents to winterize him. Hopefully we can film one or two more days though. I want to make another video soon.

Still wasn't happy. I think I may have gotten it this time. One angle was messin' with me, but I think I have it fixed to where I will like it! Let you know in a few. I think it is OK, It keeps jumping. Hmmm, one way to find out for sure! Quick Time video with sound!

Oh and Outrunning Winter is now on Vimeo!

OK, Premiere is acting up. I have to go fix it.

That is all, carry on.

Outrunning Winter

Yes here it is! The latest installment from "ECR Productions." OK, I had to do that, there is no ECR Productions. But it seams every man, boy, child, woman or girl that makes a video is a production company. Yes I do this for a living, but I work for some one, and that someone is not a production company.

Why the logo at the end you ask. Because I can I answer. OK, on to the video!

This video is called "Outrunning Winter." here is the video, fallowed by my description on You Tube.

"Filmed on the few last nice, and one not so nice, days of September and October. I took a few adventures around the Scranton PA area on my Honda Ruckus (Honda Zoomer). Covering ground from Dunmore PA, south to Kingston PA. Set to "Where have all the Rude Boys Gone" by Ted Leo and the Pharmacists. Lets take a drive around and we'll try to out run the winter and make an Indian Summer out of this year."

So what do you think? Amazing right? I know, I know, I's a genius. What? Can you star in the next ECR Productions joint? Possibly, there are three 2009 Honda Ruckus's at NA Warhorse. Pick one up and we can make plenty of videos! I have a lot of shots planed in my brain for two scooters.

Then you too can also have an ECR jacket or vest. Your choice.

While I was getting the shots of my jacket, I saw this photo:

Aint it grand? I know what you are thinking. Work of art. Yes, yes I am. You should have seen me a few years ago. Brad Pitt asked me to put some weight one because I was making him look bad.

Any way, after said conversation. I began to eat a lot of theses little guys.
So here I sit today. Still a work of art, but not taking the money out of the pocket of one of the worlds biggest stars.

So enjoy my new video, I wait to hear your responses, either here, You Tube, Facebook, email or phone calls. And yes, you can comment here, you do not need an account.

That is all, carry on.

First off the picture looks brighter than it really is outside. But it a cell phone, so I will just deal with it. Here we go.

It is about 6:30 p.m. and it is pretty damn dark outside. This is something that makes me depressed. They are calling for snow the rest of the week. It may possibly hit the high 50's next week, but that does not help me right now.

It is cold and dark. I prefer warm and bright. I don't mind some rain every once and a while, but not so much with the cold.

I was once an avid snowboarder and before that a skier. But now I want to move to Hawaii. Warm air and warm sand please.

Key west is nice, but tropical storms are not for me. That and I do love PA. Guess I'll suck it up and live with it. I've done it for 28 years already. And I do like wearing hoodies.

That is all, carry on.

Oh it got much darker from when I started blogging until now.

Go to my You Tube

Go to my You Tube channel and watch my new video! It just went live a hour ago! I will post it when I get home.

DANG!

Don't watch the whole thing, but please scrub through this video. It is so dang funny. The last 2 minutes or so are the best, so watch them. I thank Bob Diaz over at TR for sharing this video with me.

If I ever get that bad, I really hope my friends will keep me close by and not let me hurt myself. But at the same time film me acting like a fool! I would love to see this after I got my head straight. I mean what are friends for if not to get smashed and fall all over the place. I'd do it for you, and keep you from getting away.

I am thinking a Buddy Bear would work well to keep me/them from getting to far out of the line of sight.
I mean what good is a drunk if they run away and you can't see their antics? Got to keep them on a "short leash." Get it?

All joking aside, that guy is on something other than booze. I really hope he didn't drive to or from the store.

Moving on! The new Meepers video is almost done! If YouTube does not allow the song, then I am only going to host this video on Vimeo. The footage is edited to the music, so if I change that, it is ruined.

Here is a screen shoot of my new Logo!
What do you think? I dig it. And so does The Meepers!
The video might be done today. It just needs some finishing touches and a preview! Stay tuned! I am going to work on it now!

That is all, carry on.

Revenge of the 80's!

Well I know I have not been up to par on my blogging lately. But I do have a good reason, I have been very busy with work. Quick lunches and staying late. Sense I normally write my blogs on my lunch break , and I have been eating, NAY! Gobbling my food down in a hurry I have not had time to fill your hearts and minds with the wonders of my world. And you know how interesting my mind can be. Hell it surprises me every day.

So last week, before all hell broke loose and shit hit the preventable fan, I was browsing Ebay on lunch for Cafe Racer Jackets. My ECR jacket is in poor shape (even though I got it a year ago. The seller lied about the quality of the jacket), and I came across a few that were OK, but pricey.

For some reason Cafe Racer Jackets have sky rocketed in price in the past few years and for the most part, the price has not come down (even in this shitty economy). I use to get them for $30 shipped, and my awesome blue jacket was like $65 shipped. Now the blue jacket will sell for well over $200 (probably over $300), my brown one will sell for $150-$200 and my black one, even with the patch removed an the holes on the back visible, would sell for $100. Crazy I know!

OK, back on track. After I bookmarked a few auctions I came across one that blew my flipping mind! In fact, I am going to go find it now and see if it sold and for what price. Hold on. OK, I'm back.

11 days left, buy it now option for $129.95 w/$12.95 shipping. Now if you do not like to click links, here are the images of this master piece with description.

All I can say is WOW. That is a little out of hand. Now if you did not know, and I am sure you did not most of these jackets are sold out of Canada. Why you ask? I do not know. But almost all of them I have purchased or bid on came from Canada. I think only my current ECR jacket came from the states.

I think we need to take a second and absorb this "Thing" before us. I use "Thing" because it is more than a jacket. Hell it is more than words can explain. We will just say it "Just is." Yup, that seems to encompass all that this "Thing" has to offer.

Moving on to my over use of (Parentheses). If you have ever had a face to face conversation with me, I think you can understand why I use them a lot. If not, allow me to explain.

I have a bit of a wondering mind. When I get into a conversation I tend to get side tracked and go off on a different story or topic. So I use the parentheses to insert these side bars in. It is easier for me to stay on track with text because I have a backspace key. So my side bars are much shorter that they would be in a face to face. Come on now, do you want these blogs to get even more confusing then they already are? Because that is what you will be in for. Challenge me to a conversation and you will see.

One more thing, then I will dismiss you. Today driving in to work, The Meepers and I were almost turned into dead people. Some lady was backing out of her driveway. She had a blind spot, and I saw here car was in reverse. So I let off my throttle and gently hit the brakes. I was slowing down, but I was not getting ready to stop. Then she did something I did not expect. Instead of creeping out like very other person in the world would do when they can not see, she fell short. She literally gunned it. went right out and didn't even cut the wheel, straight back into the other lane. So I jacked my brakes, laid on the horn and yell as loud as I could (and you know how loud that could be). She slammed her brakes and put her car into drive and pulled back into her driveway.

I swerved around to avoid getting dead, luck for me there was no car in the on coming lane. Un-lucky for me there was a car right behind me. That means that had I ran into the lady backing out, the car behind me would have run into me. Not good. But we escaped.....narrowly. I was filming, but I was filming behind me. So by time she is on screen, she is back in her drive way. My clear head thought, "If you can't see backing out, why not back in then pull out?" It is much safer for everyone in the world.

OK, I am done for now.

That is all, carry on.

So I have left my county 7 days this week. And yes that is beer in a glass at a bar on a Sunday night. I guess old habits die hard. Well at least with a fight. That fight is to stay awake!

So can you tell what is in that can? Here are two hints. The soda is in that cup. Do you know what is in that glass?

There is wine in that glass. Did anyone watch last nights episode of Always Sunny in Philly? No? You don't know what you are missing.

Well Frank (Danny DeVito) started drinking wine out of a soda can. So the rest of the gang started doing it to. Can you see where I am going with this?

There is wine in my can! I am drinking wine from a Shasta can. The glass is Amy's wine.
